We have certain policies that shape how we work. They apply whether:
Here they are at a glance:
We prefer to be upfront and honest with each other. So if we ask you to submit quotations or proposals, we'd prefer you to cut to the chase and give us your best offer first off. If we decide not to take you up on your offers, we'll try and let you know why.
If you're the right service provider for us, we aren't scared of commitment. We're happy to enter into long term partnerships with suppliers who we feel are vital to our business.
That means our employees must not have any undisclosed interest, financial or otherwise, in your organisation.
When it comes to gifts, you're welcome to spoil us with modest gifts. And since we like to keep things fair, we'll share these with the rest of the team, for example, by raffling the goods and giving the proceeds to charity. We want to make sure members of our team are never put in a difficult position.
When it comes to wining and dining us, we're happy to accept modest hospitality and entertainment as long you don't expect it to influence our business decisions as a result.
Depending on our business needs, we will make sure that:
We believe in honest and transparent trading. So even if we're working with suppliers, based in countries where bribery and corruption is entrenched, we will maintain the highest standards of business integrity. UK law makes it illegal for a UK citizen or company to bribe public or private officials or office-holders, even if the offence happens outside the UK. As well as prosecution in court our staff would face instant dismissal should they break this law.
We put our people first. That includes our suppliers and anyone else who acts for them. If we are evaluating a purchasing agreement, we ask for confirmation that our terms of business and supplier code of conduct are adhered to at all times.
We need to know that our suppliers and partners take the Health and Safety of their employees and manufacturers seriously and that they comply with all the appropriate local and or national legislation appropriate to location.
We look to work with partners and suppliers who are as committed to looking after the environment.
Confidentiality is important to us. All commercially sensitive information given to us, including data on pricing and other terms, will be treated in confidence. Equally, we will not (under any circumstances) communicate to you any commercially sensitive data provided by another company or expect you to do the same. Any quotations and proposals you give us will be treated in confidence, both before and after the business is awarded, unless we both agree otherwise.
